  1. DO NOT TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO COME OUT OF THE CLOSET. I once drunkenly tried to “help” a friend by letting him know it was obvious that he was in the closet and that none of his friends would reject him for being himself. As you could imagine, all I did was embarrass him and make him feel like he had to actively deny being gay. This was a terrible thing to do to a friend, luckily he is still friends with me, it’s just not a conversation that you should be bringing up.

  2. There is a documentary on YT that I saw that talks about Hollywood's leading men being MOSTLY gay. During the first few decades of Hollywood, that is. Some of those leading men were men that women dreamed about and other men looked up to and wanted to be. Manly men, like Cary Grant. It came as a surprise to me for sure, even though in Grant's case it wasn't really even a secret. But somehow the phenomenon became an issue.

  3. Is it actually true about gay male leads? I don't think it would deter me from watching a Tom Cruise movie if he came out. In fact, I've just re-watched "The Edge of Tomorrow" and it didn't bother me a bit, all the… bad stuff I've heard about him and Scientology in particular (which might very well be true). Good movie is a good movie and good actor is a good actor :^)

  4. Idk..I'm gay but I dont NEED a gay guy in a leading role. I think they should just pick whoever is the best actor…

Some gays complain that every gay role should be played by actual gay guys and that's also bullshit. It's just acting lmao cant we just enjoy the movie no matter who is gay or straight?
