Saint Patrick had nothing to do with Catholicism, he was preaching the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The true Celtic Church was the one that thrived in Ireland until roughly 1200AD when the pope (small p) gave to King Henry II that which was not his to give ie. The Country of Ireland.
The Irish people trace themselves back through The Tribe of Dan (Tuatha De Danaan) to the ancient Israelites. God expelled our ancestors from the land of Israel circa 740BC for race mixing and idolotry. The True Israelites are the White Christian peoples. One day this truth will be known throughout the world and those that say they are of Judah but are not will be exposed.

Jesus told the apostles to take the Gospels to The Lost Sheep of The House of Israel —- That they did by going westward to where the Lost Sheep were to be found in Rome, Greece, Constantinople, the British and Irish Isles. That is why the Celtic Church was the Church of Christ and knew that there truly was only one Mediator between God and man — Yahshua Christ.

Catholic church doesn't make anyone a Saint! If you are born again in Christ you are a saint.
