Thank you for this post. I have been confused about what Saint Patrick's day is and why it came to be so special to world but knowing that we do not venerate days connected to "Saints" I just never looked at it and him more closely. I am a believer of the Lord God Almighty and His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ who was born through no earthly father by a maid and died on a cross for our sins, to be buried for three days after which He rose from the dead. I have been the Sabbath day on the seventh day of creation as the Ten Commandments tells us to keep it Holy and most people in my acquaintance think I am a little bit crazy and weird and I am ok with that because I know whose approval I am seeking above all else.
I am happy to hear that the Celtics had true Christian beliefs at a time because I have been wondering about my ancestors and how come I love the sound of their music and love seeing green environment, even though I have never been there, and they are now basically famous for their druid beliefs.
