Historians are not certain where he was born. Some believe he was born in Wales. What’s for certain, he was not born in Ireland. You must have been the last person to know this.
St. Columba, who came out of the same ministry that St. Patrick started, went to spread the Holy Gospel in Scotland, sometime in the mid 500’s A.D.
Did not have a significant foothold until 12th century???

There is a great book, when' Scottland Was Jewish' Hirschman/Yates. Scottland's history is rich – that's why the Shabbat. We are Campbells of Argyll and always wondered about the deep pull to Shabbat. If anyone is Scottish, I encourage you to read this book – Amazon.
