A bunch of idiots think The Joker is about their anti capitalist sentiments. They are being mocked by the entire movie and don't even get that.
1 – Bruce Wayne did nothing wrong, that was clear.
2 – The rich people attacking him on the subway are mirrored by the street kids who beat him up when he was working. The rich didn't do anything specifically bad to Arthur.
3 – The only trigger for him becoming the joker was a bad healthcare system. That works as a moral failure of the system BECAUSE arthur works hard and isn't another parasite complaining about capitalism. He was doing the work, he wasn't just trying to be a parasite.
This movie was extremely well crafted to avoid giving fuel to narratives outside the obvious one on mental health and how society in general approaches it.

The joker is the image of the "devil, and the devil is being eaten up from the inside out,
and anybody that hangs around him is going to be eating up from inside out also,

i watched it two months after my best friend committed suicide, and I saw some injustice in society that my friend couldn't handle, was tough, and mind-bending. When i went out of the theater some part of my mind wanted to start a riot for sure. Masterpiece.
