Disappointed in ya joe trying to downplay the rodney beating with this high speed pcp bs. No matter what the beating was unwarranted period. Jump on him, cuff'em and leave it at that. All this taking turns kicking in face and stomping on him shit is just stupid and they should have been shot for it. Meanwhile mass shooters out here getting books and movies made about him as cops take them alive untouched.

SWAT training really doesn't have much to do with Riot Suppression. SWAT/SRT/ERT units are almost universally focused on Counter-Terrorism, High Risk Warrents, Active Shooter Situations, and Armed Robbery to name a few. Riot Suppression on the other hand is something every major metropolitan police department trains almost every individual officer in. Wouldn't make much sense to only have a single unit for Riot Suppression if you think about how many are required in a Ferguson or Baltimore situation.
