I don't really agree with Joe every time he brings up AI can do a better job at coding than coders. I agree that eventually, AI will be able to code nearly as well, but chat gpt can't take in huge code bases and understand what to do like a human can, it may be able to draft a function really well but it still can't place the code properly and do complex object oriented programming. If anything, it will help coders do a much better job and reduce the amount of bugs introduced into software.
If it happens like Joe says, then whats young Jamie going to be doing? If AI can design huge code bases and make software design and engineering obsolete it can definitely make a producer that googles obsolete. I love young Jammie and Joe, but after hearing this almost every other JRE podcast for the last year now, I had to mention it.
