The very first interpretation of ‘Babylon the Great’, given to me was that ‘the prostitute’ represents false and pagan worship, as opposed to ‘the bride of Christ’ who represents true worship. All the blood spilled in the name of false religion has incurred the wrath of God. Also, a lot of religions are extremely wealthy, with lots of gold, ivory, purple religious garments and candles and incense and myrrh. God puts it into the hearts of world leaders to ban all religion, which will leave true Christians vulnerable and exposed to being slaughtered for continuing to worship God.
No one will ever be able to understand one iota of the Book of Revelation (or sections of the New Testament for that matter) UNTIL one begins to realize that the Book of Revelation depicts our inner spiritual energy rising up more and more through the 7 chakras (7 Seals, 7 Trumpets, 7 Vials,), all described in literal but highly symbolical terms. These terms are WRONGLY understood and interpreted as worldly calamities and disasters, pain, torment, agony, etc. much like the "Fall of Babylon" in Revelation Chapter 18 depicts each true God seeker’s individual fall from their "love of the world and of their Ego." It is NOT the destruction of some physical city named Babylon. The name "Babylon" portrays confusion, and the human body is taught in eastern scriptures as your "city." WHEN YOUR "CITY" (body of confusion) FALLS, IT IS A GREAT SPIRITUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT. Your one and only ADVERSARY, in which the New Testament mentions, is man's SAME adversary that has been taught down through the centuries in the east, and it's certainly not an "outward" entity with a pitchfork and red suit. "Satan" is merely one of many terms that portray one's EGO and/or LOWER MIND. STUDY THE EASTERN SCRIPTURES, FOR THAT IS WHERE CHRIST MOST ASSUREDLY RECEIVED HIS KNOWLEDGE. It can all be confirmed if only we would seriously research and study the eastern scriptures in comparison with the Bible, which the whole of "church goers" will never resort to doing. All seemingly horrible calamities one reads in the Book of Revelation are merely physical illustrations pointing to the destruction of one's outward desire for the things of the world (which prevents them from ascending the spiritual realms); that is to say the total destruction of one's EGO (our Adversary). The FALL of BABYLON is a gift from the Divine Source we call "God." With all due respect (since I know how judgmental the church is), before you comment and call me a false prophet or whatever language you care to use, I totally expect it, but do yourself a favor first and spend at least a handful of years comparing the Bible to the scriptures of the east. Oh yes, the drying up of the Euphrates River is yet another word picture or allegory depicting each and every God seeker who surrenders their lower human nature to the higher Divine Consciousness of which we are all a part, much like the Fall of Babylon. We are all potential spiritual KINGS of the EAST, and in order to obtain that victory, our Euphrates River (as in the earthly riches of Babylon) must be DRIED UP, to allow us to prepare “The Way” of the Kings of the East. These truths are all hidden in the ancient eastern scriptures as well as in the Bible, but the Gnostic Gospels continue to remain intact while much of Christianity sadly continues to be blindsided by the Roman Empire.
P.S. HELL, which houses the “weeping and wailing” and the “gnashing of teeth” isn’t some eternal SPOOK HOUSE under the earth, that’s a certainty. Hell itself is a SYMBOIC term as is BOTTOMLESS PIT, both depicting the cycle of Lower Nature DEATH and REBIRTH. Yes, reincarnation – for us Westerners who have been ignorant of this Universal truth – is the backbone of God’s teachings, even Christ taught this. That is solely where the “weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth” takes place, and it is in all lower nature planets throughout the fast cosmos. Please compare your Bible to the ancient scriptures of the East. The WISE MEN (Maji) of the EAST knew that the Christ child would be schooled in the East.
The bible isn't supposed to be re-written. And you're doing that. There will be a whore of babylon. You guys aren't supposed to put words in Gods mouth.
