  1. I fully understand the argument of the “middle man mafia”, but to get rid of insurance cos in this day and age would be like economic suicide. Like imagine all the big insurance cos going under, yeah good luck with that..

  2. the very basic thing is the pharma companies are lobbying like crazy so i don't think so anything or anyone can actually pass this bill in the near future at least….then well what do i know… I'm not even a us citizen

  3. The insurance industry sees an average profit margin of 10%, so that's the most we could possibly save. The problem is we would be adding tens of millions of people who are either un-insured or under-insured. I don't see how this could save us money and not become a blank check for health care providers. It would have the same outcome as federal college loans and grants.

Prices would soar. Quality would decline. Wait times would increase. Good luck keeping your doctor or seeing a specialist of your choice. It would be a fucking disaster.

Everyone being forced to pay a 20% Medicare tax is not that unrealistic considering health care currently makes up 17.7% of our GDP. The tens of millions of people who have their health insurance paid by their employer are going to be pissed. It would be a crushing blow to the middle class.

Also keep in mind that once social welfare programs are implemented, they are impossible to take away.

The government just can't be trusted with our health care. Just look at how Democrats are acting with Covid and vaccine passports. Medicare for All would become Medical Tyranny.

Kyle Kulinski is a fucking idiot.
