Everyone should read the green new deal, it’s 13 pages, the reason people don’t agree with it is because it’s a short abbreviation to all things socialist with climate change sprinkled on top, if it were just about solar and wind, then maybe, but politicians are banking on ignorance…
new entrepreneurs will naturally invest in things that show promise. you don't need the government to make these decisions, and waste billions of dollars of taxpayer money in the process – which will happen because the government officials that will decide what to invest in don't have the same natural incentives and entrepreneurs do.
The original new deal was shit, the green new deal will be shit. You'll handicap the economy, raise unemployment due to the destruction of certain sectors (i.e. oil). go look at the unemployment rates after the new deal – disclaimer: not pretty
