Kyle the goat let's be real.
I'm a biologist, and I honesty don't care about most politics nearly as much as I care about science. The thing I hate is that conservatives have actually convinced themselves that scientists are lying about climate change for grant money, and that the oil companies are the ones telling the truth.
offcourse there is…… the way the "green new deal" should be put in praxis is, that first we must build some alternative industry/infrastructure, that will employ at least most of those people who work in "polluting industries"…… when those people "hop" to those new jobs, then we can start sinking that polluting ship…… but instead, the left wants to abruptly put a stop on the whole thing and leave everyone without jobs…… keep in mind these are all people who are not rich, therefore they cannot wait months to find a new job, cause they all have mortgages…… Biden told coal miners that they should learn to code :D:D:D so yeah, THAT would be the case against this bill(even tho, that's sadly not the argument the establishment GOP goes with, that's why they keep losing this particular debate)
Joe Rogan is maybe the dumbest person in the world bless your heart Kyle, your patience is unmatched
Coming from an ecological frame of mind the green new deal won’t come close to saving the planet. Solar and wind are dependent upon mining finite minerals which poison ecosystems, fossil fuel to transport it all, fossil fuel (coal) for heat to process, and coal to make solar. You need coal to make steel for wind. I could go on and on. Most renewable energy in Europe is burning trees (biomass). Then there are dams, which destroy ecosystems and fish plus emit methane. Dams are made of concrete (from mining) not sustainable. No industrial activity is sustainable.
