From getting bullied to the point the only end in sight was to commit suicide, to cruising around with one of the world’s most caring people snacking on hummus.
In middle school I saw a special needs student getting bullied and when I hit the kid making fun of them I got suspended and was forced to apologize. Schools promote bullying more than preventing it
This is what happens when you coddle your kid.
I remember when zero tolerance started. I would get a detention, skip it, skip the Saturday school, then get suspended 3 days. Thank God there wasn't social media then
It's terrifying to think I will have to send my kids to school alone some day. No matter how much I try to teach them to be kind and respectful people, I can't control how the kids around them will treat them. School is a place for kids to learn and prepare for the future, not live in fear of being physically or mentally hurt. It's just sad.
