I liked Chinatown too we watched it on one of my college classes back in the day
Best movie death to smoochy
I didn't know Edward Norton did a movie about Robert Moses. I have to say, that guy is really inspirational. A lot of what he did could go a long way to solve a lot of our current problems with cities, just applied differently. He acquired his authority by getting politicians to pass bills which he wrote. They passed them because he was getting the job done. Edward Norton must know something I don't, because these accusations of racism could have been a consequence of economics, since compensation is required for expropriated land.
When sh*tlibs say “it was widely accepted” be careful.
Also, this description Moses sounds dangerously antisemitic.
the book " The Power Broker" is a history of Robert Moses and NYC in the 20th century.
