  1. On a plebeiean note, the chef (non-owner) that opens a restaurant often gets fired or quits within 6 months. Non-corporate hellholes, that is. They "break the membrane", then become redundant. Happened several times in my 47-year experience, before you jump my 💩.

  2. hey joe i loved your observation about podcasts being like a conversation. something ive been thinking about a lot is that the "conversation you arent there for" premise might actually not be a good thing. your show is so informative & unbiased that it makes up for it, but the fundamental problem is still there: to most people listening to you feels a lot like real life, better. i cant think of many conversations i have had that compare with yours. with much love, consideration, & admiration, Trenton

  3. People crave long form big business and commercials want short form capitalism wants dumb people that want short attention spans yet the human mind likes the long form deeper feeling and thoughts
