I am confused. Here it is said suffer unto death and I will give you life. Yet peter 3 times denounced christ to avoid being associated with jesus and mostly likely arrested and maybe even killed. Yet Jesus not only supports peter and he himself encrusted the church to peter a man professized to deny christ.
Why do i need to suffer onto death. ? Somehow that does not sound like a gift. It sounds like a death sentence.
Why does it seem even with jesus we are not equal and death seems to be part of a sacrifice for a free gift.
At least jesus was god and truly knew the truth and what was to be. We dont even know anything about the life and times as they pertain to now.
The bible could have been taught in the past 50 years in meaningful ways.
