This dude was absolutely a genius. His grasp on special effect, look at the An American Werewolf in London film cover, the way the werewolf is designed is so animalistic in a way that CGI could never reproduce. That kind of special effects takes a master of his craft and time.

Best transformation from human to werewolf on screen goes to that movie. Any others worth mentioning?
Such a humble dude considering being a genius at what he does. In fact, he won best make up award 7 times which is by far more than what any other make up artist has won(being the case Stan Winston) and this movie is his signature masterpiece work.
man this dude Rick Baker is a passionate genius man ( ofc credits to his team of fans who worked relentlessly with him nd painted the masks and all ) the makeups and the the whole procedure of making the moulds and the mechanical head thing that puffs up the head and all is terrific!! all that effort ended up paying off ,creating the most unbelievebly realistic transformation ever ! and the first one to win an oscar , when i was little it used to scare the shit out of me , i had trouble sleeping for months after watching it!
