Even the first time I saw Star Wars in 1979, I could sense something was off about the different cuts. At the time I couldn't put my finger on it but I could subconsciously tell things were shot at different times and locations. The lighting is different, the backgrounds are different. When I found years later that parts were shot at Pinewood and parts in LA, it made total sense.
He is so soft spoken it feels like ASMR… I cant watch it…
All the mouth noice and smacking lips is so annoying!!
Bring the real back cgi is getting worse
What I love is when films are first made most creatures are made cheap but good and people love it because the director didnt have the money what they really wanted then the things become successful and they remake things shitter. It always never sat right with me that. Practical effects are always better than cgi even if they look cheaper because they are real. Same thing happened with Jaws and Spielberg. He didnt have the money and the shark looked cheap so most of the movie you never saw it which was more scary. Originally I heard Spielberg wanted more shark more action which may have changed cinema for ever because jaws may not of been the first blockbuster. Its interesting to me. Ridley Scott. First alien dark and twisted and dirty looking. New aliens he did light bright and crisp didnt do as well. Long story short if it's not broke dont fix it
