I never got credit for anything . I even did the Marlin Monroe silk screen for andi whorhol. No credit their either. I fixed rick strattons Tv show V and got the first fx award for him still no credit . I was there for most of thoes ass bites but never got anything . At least i out lived thoes crooks. Not don post they were a wonderful family and ellis mercetile props john faris was wonderfull to work for too. He let me scream at the bad producer and directors . Im under contracts so i can i was a consultant saveing their butts . Id chase them out if their own building untill im done lol . I hates the coke heads. Lol it was more fun than anything . Im a grate actor i can scare the hell out of them . Why not i hate working anyway .
Hay rick you never called me back for the alian dang . I started with Don post and don post jr. and rick stratton . I worked on star track star wars planet of the apes creature from the black lagoon late version and with captain beefheart zappa pink floyd all the good stuff . Nothing i liked very much. I wanted to do a pirate movie or western . I smacked a few pedos around and got black balled and red checked . Not sure what a red check meens lol oh well. I work with ancient technologys . Im going to vkean all our rivers with frequencies while i fish for trout and play my insterment with the tribes . Maby ill get to the civilized rivers if im in a good mood or not lol im a grump sometime . Lol
Great clip and JRE episode. I’m 53 and as a young boy used to love Fangoria magazine. I still remember seeing a small page ad for the upcoming The Road Warrior and taking note. When this episode first hit I was like Holy Sh*t the Rick Baker!
This is such a great interview. I feel like almost everyone who chats with Baker is too busy trying to trump Baker's monster knowledge. Rogan is willing to let Baker talk and educate, knowing not everyone is going to have the baseline knowledge of the classic monster movies.
My Dad was a sci-fi fan. He took me with him to see The Creature movie when I was quite young, maybe 9 or 10. Loved it so much I bought a model kit and built my own Creature. He took me to see The 7th Voyage of Sinbad too. The Cyclops scared the 💩out of me but I liked the skeletons. Thanks, Dad! You turned me into a sci-fi fan and a nerd! Miss you! 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦
