Christianity and Politics. is it okay to mix the two?
Good morning my fellow believing patrons! I sincerely hope that you are all doing extremely well today indeed!
Today, we will be reading a quick excerpt from a passage in the King James Version bible called “Sectarianism is sin.” (Whenever you are ready, please read with me!)— it reads,
(Passage Title: “sectarianism is sin.”)
(1st Corinthians 1:10)- “Now I beseech thee, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” (So today, I want to primarily focus in your attention on that word that is in the title of the passage “Sectarianism.”— let’s talk more about that word.
“So What is Sectarianism anyways? What does Paul mean by that? What does that word even mean?”
(Sectarianism Definition): “Sectarianism”— is a political or cultural conflict between two groups often related to the form of government they live under.” (When they say— “A cultural conflict between two groups, here, In The United States of America, an excellent example of that would be “The Republicans, and, The Democrats.”
Dear brothers and sisters, I am writing to you all today because things have gotten to a point amongst believers where, now, I see Christians in real life (and over the internet), name calling each other, cursing each other out, and arguing with one another, all over their differences in political beliefs.
If the master was here right now, would he be proud of his children for arguing with each other and calling each other names over political and social issues? I am afraid that the answer to that question is no dear brothers and sisters, He wouldn’t.
Now Some of you may be reading this post and wondering, well “Aside from causing arguments, How else is politics ruining the churches?—
So let’s talk more about that.
In my home state of Illinois, (The Chicagoland area), an estimated 39% of churches have LGBTQ/ rainbow flags outside of their church doors. And In 20% of those churches, homosexuals or lesbians are behind the pulpits as the senior pastors of those buildings. And that is the very product of combining (LGBTQ activism/ democratic beliefs), with Christianity.
(If I may: I would just like to politely suggest that any and all believers of Christ should maybe refrain from attending these churches. But I respect everyone’s freedom of choice and it is ultimately your decision)
But on the contrary Dear brothers and sisters, I am afraid to say that the Democratic Party are not the only ones whom are at fault for the ruins of the Holy father’s temple(s).
Before the election, There were many many (republican) pastors throughout the Land who swore by my Lord’s name that God had shown them a prophecy/ or a vision that the 45th president of the United States would be re-elected again, and millions of God’s people whom identify with the Republican Party actually believed them, yet those predictions did NOT come to pass at all. The congregations of those pastors have completely overlooked the false prophecies and still follow these men anyways, despite all of the false predictions that they made in the Lord’s name.
And If a man will predict for you, a false prophecy, then where will he lead you next? (And that’s why I would also encourage you to perhaps drift away from these types of churches as well. But again, your choices are your own! And I completely respect that very much!)
But The main reason reason for articulating this particular message here today is that I would just simply like to ask you all in the mighty name of Jesus , can we please as believers make more of an effort to eliminate arguing amongst ourselves? Can we please please please aim to get along with one another despite our differences in political beliefs? Can we please make sure that our churches are not glorifying, OR, prioritizing things such as politics, LGBTQ activism, or their favorite president over Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ?
Dear brothers and sisters, I politely make these staunch requests of you all here today because I truly believe that they are for the greater good of the church; And that they will assist us to achieve perfect peace and unity within the confines our church walls. Now it is imperative to say, that I do NOT claim to know the Master’s thoughts, but however,
I can most confidently say that He would most certainly want all of his children to get along with one another in perfect peace and harmony! Because remember dear brothers and sisters:
(Mark 3:24)- “If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”
Fasting is food not things.
The Holy Ghost pours out his Spirit and brings the increase in the name of Jesus. The latter rain proceeds the second coming and it is what waters the seed. Without the Spirit of God no one is saved. Believe in your idea of Jesus till the end of time, it does little good. You need to accept his ambassador and representative. So when the Holy Spirit shows himself and is rejected that is the unpardonable sin. To grieve the Spirit of God is to reject life.
The supreme witness of Jesus Christ (King David) is reporting for duty.
He was a man whose tongue held no lies,
For he was the direct descendant of our father in the heavenly skies.
Born to a body of fleshy sin,
Though what laid beneath was unlike the rest of his kin.
Jesus had the utmost grace,
Never being wavered by evils face.
He was wise beyond any years,
Performing miracles that would bring crowds to tears.
A beacon of light on top of a starless mountain,
Where words of wisdom poured out of him as if there ran a cosmic fountain.
His eyes pierced through you with a single glance,
Leaving even the most hardened individuals in quite the trance.
The Holy Spirit so ever majestically flowed inside this man,
Naturally people caught notice and became a fan.
Students began showing up from every mold,
When they heard his words their hearts were sold.
Wicked men put a price on Jesus's head,
He was wanted alive or dead.
Despite this he and his disciples continued their teachings,
Where on occasion they endured terrible beatings.
One of the twelve apostles turned to black,
No longer having Jesus's back.
Judas Iscariot had done Satan's bidding,
And it is in hell where he now is sitting.
Jesus died on the cross to pay for our shortcoming,
However don't be saddened for if you believe in him you will see him at your homecoming.
There he sits at the right hand of God's throne,
Being the voice of truth and love that we all have known.
Satan's tongue is coated in a layer of deceit,
And he tramples over promises with his feet.
He's a being who is bound by deceptions,
Whose very essence oozes with misconceptions.
He struggles to look you in your eyes,
For his gaze holds nothing but lies.
On occasion he will give you his hand,
But don't be fooled by his stand.
He seeks to corrupt your heart,
You would be wise to avoid him from the start.
Seeking quick pleasures and casting aside love,
He traverses this land with push and shove.
Now Lucifer was once not lost,
But pride blinded him at a cost.
Disobeying God he waged war,
Becoming detestable to the core.
Today he is the ruler of Earth,
Though for all his power he has no real worth.
However most of us have still been sold,
Giving into sin and becoming cold.
Nearly everyone is a puppet dancing on strings,
Marching to delusion for their unjust kings.
My people have given into lust,
Becoming robots full of rust.
However you my child are the exception,
So when you meet me don't forget to mention.
That you alone have been granted the key,
And before your glory they shall all bend a knee.
