It was right after that China created BRICS as an alternative to the IMF and suddenly all the media turned on China from Jackie Chan movies and good food to public enemy number one and made them into cartoon supervillains. And despite the worst stories they can make up about China it's nothing compared to what the west does everyday but people just don't care about.
