If it matters at all I think Diaz looked good in the moments he threw shots, he landed some nice clean shots and I think he could've came back in the later rounds for absolute sure if it weren't for the cut. He's a 5 round fighter, even if Masvidal wouldn't have tired completely he would've tired out some, and that would be enough for Diaz to catch up somewhat . I'm not being a delusional Diaz fan either, hes just the type of guy to wait for guys to tire out to take advantage.. still all credit goes to Masvidal for beating him, he really beat the fuck outta him
