Jehovah does NOT do evil…however HE does allow evil 2 come if WE disobey HIM. satan is the small "g" god of this world & he always wanted 2 do harm onto Saul BUT God kept satan from doing these evil deeds as HE does 4 US. Yet, when God left Saul the protection ended & the lord/god of this world (satan) taunted Saul constantly. Now I also believe, that God allowed this evil subsequently, 2 usher David n2 the palace hence playing the harp onto Saul as 2 calm & sooth him. Remember God cannot do evil it's NOT within HIM…only satan
It's called PTSD. "He fought against his enemies on every side: against Moab, the Ammonites, Edom, the king of Zobah, and the Philistines". He saw constant warfare. It only makes sense he would experience PTSD. And music soothed his ptsd. He really was a great person and did the what anyone would expect a great King to do. Really a shame that someone as low and base as David would take his place.
Truly, Father in Heaven, we face the torment that King Saul faced ages ago…Oftentimes we panic by forgetting that YOU sent us THE HOLY SPIRIT as a permanent companion…Thank you GDN…Amen.
