Total bullshit. They don't even have a fully assembled mammoth genome. They have fragments of 65 mammoth genes that they believe are crucial for cold tolerance. Their whole plan is to edit the homologues of theses 65 genes in Asian elephant embryos and make the resulting adults more cold tolerant. You won't get a freaking mammoth by editing 65 out of the tens of thousands of genes of an Asian elephant. Their homepage is basically a scam for badly informed people like Forrest Galante, who get all wide eyed when seeing cool extinct critters and go with everything for clicks.
