Oh yeah oh you’re right yeah that’s right especially in America about marriage that’s why it’s a catastrophe
biblical marriage is a stupid idea. that is because all the commitment and investment is up front. any other relationship like a friendship grows over time. you do not meet someone and immediately invest all your time and assets into that person. biblical marriage does this in the reverse order of nature. you commit everything you have, discover that it doesn't work out, and then end the relationship in catastrophe. Very dumb, yahweh fails hard. Amusingly, even xtians themselves tacitly admit to this dysfunctional form of marriage because they recommend things like marriage counseling, but what is that if not trying to compress years of natural relationship growth into a few weeks? They're basically admitting, this is an awful way to form a relationship, but here's a bit of counseling for damage control. wtf
