I once got into a fight and got cut in the face went to the hospital and my alcohol content was .4 and im a heavy drinker i was drunk but not blacked out.

Beer is served colder with lower ABV.
Wine is sweeter and served warmer with more ABV, ergo slower consumption than beer, yet quicker results.
Liquor served in shots are consumed faster with more ABV, thus hit harder.
Tequila is just like all the other straight liquors but sweeter, so people consume more, just as fast because it doesn't hit the palate as hard as whiskey, vodka, etc.

I was gonna say that! The crazy eyes! My ex boyfriend used to get those kind of "doll eyes" when he was in a blackout. Still talking, still walking and responding and yet– nobody home. Fascinating. I was a severe alcoholic for around 15 years and I NEVER had a blackout. It's always been an insane concept to me. My ex boyfriend– WOKE UP WALKING DOWN THE STREET! No coat, no wallet, hypothermic. He called me in the morning after a night of a group of us getting hammered, he'd just booked it down the street where we were standing for no reason, we searched downtown for him for hours and even informed a police officer but we couldn't find him. When we couldn't do anything else, we went back to my place and fell asleep and I woke up to a phone call from him. He was shivering, and the first words out of his mouth were, "I woke up walking down the road. I don't know where I am". I stayed on the phone with him, asking him to look around for landmarks until he pointed out a food truck I knew about and we rushed over to pick him up. I was so terrified for him. I got him in bed and kept forcing him to drink hot tea. He didn't stop uncontrollably shivering for about 2 hours.
Yes defiantly as a past Alcoholic, wine has the worst withdrawals and made me do stupid shit, fine on everything else so I avoided wine at all costs.
