Imagine if Medicine didnt revolve around money …… stuff like this would be common place.
If Big Pharma cant make a few 100 million dollars off it and paten it into oblivion , they dont wanna touch it , hence why Pot is still shunned even though we have receptors in the brain for 2 chemicals in the plant that only fire from those two chemicals , thier even named after them ffs …. smh. We have a 'not for profit' Org in Australia called the CSIRO that would do it, but its all government funded so , they only can do so much. They invented Wireless Internet btw , and Apple and others stole it and gave them no credit. I think the court case is still going. But the point is with out non-profit Orgs we wont get anywhere , it will all be treating the cause over your life time rather than fixing the actual problem , because they cant make a billion dollars off it.
