4 years later and this information seems to be false as far as mycelium vs fruiting bodies. Doing a dual extraction is the best for all mushrooms even the ones that have more water soluble nutrients. Many experts now say using mycelium is the cheaper and quicker way to produce extracts, but not the best way.
