Josh Homme is a true artist. He creates what he likes and loves. It isn't always specific in as much that it has no particular style or a kind of always familiar sound. Most of the artists that I truly appreciate also appreciate other artists. They don't try to emulate them necessarily or sound exactly like them , but they are fans just like us. And some like Josh Homme want to go and create music that is all over the place in terms of genre because what is inside your creative process is every kind of music that you appreciate. There is no real limiting factor at all with musicians like Homme, who loves to collaborate with other artist as well.
The beginning of this describes McCartney and the "visions" he brought the Beatles…that became a pain in the ass to them – but this describes why it shouldn't have been a pain in the ass – allow the songwriter to at least see his entire picture to see if it works.
He single-handedly wrote their first album, and it is one of the best records I have ever heard.

If J-Roc and Jonathan Torrens has a kid and he was a rockstar it would be Josh Homme
