Joe can't stand having guests on that are clearly funnier than him
Being fair on Joe, some jokes went right by him but this is the first time he's met Homme, and Joe interviews a lot varied guests plus has a busy daily routine.
Homme is a witty guy and a strong personality, if Joe and Josh had known each from hanging a couple of times before this, I am sure they would flow more – Homme and Zane Lowe have a good chemistry as they have hung out and interviewed a few times over the years, or an example from Rogan, Joey Diaz is a strong personality and funny plus Joey and Joe are friends, it leads to stronger chemistry.
It is funny when some jokes seemingly go over Joe's head. I am sure we've all had that moment we have met someone, didn't know them and they did a joke but we were unsure, missed the joke, were too busy thinking of the next thing to say.
Just food for thought. Still a great podcast episode.
