I love Josh Homme, I think he's an amazing artist and musician. So unique and brilliant in my book. I knew about him he's a petrol head but never knew until I saw this his Camaro was his first car.
I agree with his mentality on this – for me I still have my 3rd car, I still had it since 17 years old. In my 23rd year of ownership now, it's a 1972 Vauxhall Firenza. Daily driver. I've kept it going and have to work on it often, it was never actually designed to live this long so takes a bit to keep it going. It's enough of what I need, I think they'd made a car good enough by that point for my needs, yet it comes from the days when a car was a bit of a work of art. We're bound to each other now, I'm responsible for it for whichever one of us dies first. So I get what Josh means on this, it's a relationship with a machine you're just in now and that's that. It makes me feel good too.
