I'm not one of those fools who thinks Western civilization is nothing but teh ebil partiarchy, but it IS worth noting that at least since Rome, it has been pretty exclusively imperialist. I understand that imperialism has a place in the world, and you may understand that imperialism isn't an innately net-negative force on the world, but these kinds of people definitely aren't capable of the kind of intellectual subtlety to distinguish, "destruction so that things can be rebuilt better and prosperity can be achieved" from, "destruction for the purpose of pillaging and stealing and nothing else".

There are many examples of matriarchal societies in indigenous culture.
Women have more power than they think! A society is only as strong as the women in that culture!
