James had to go personally to the podcast to expose Chris Kresser and show his lies and mistakes. I felt bad for Kresser when James humilated him and showed that Kresser is not qualified to even have an opinion about this.

Well said Chris, BUT – the labs here in the UK that test Active B12 (i.e. holotranscobalamine) have a FAR TOO WIDE normal range! It's the same old nonsense of excessively wide reference ranges! I have read the NICE guidelines on this test (NICE is the technical medicine authority in Britain) and they state that the LOW end of the acceptable range is 139 pmol/L, but the laboratory that I use that will do the test (The Doctors Laboratory – a huge fully accredited lab in London) puts the low end of normal (i.e. healthy) for this test at 25.1pmol/L ! This is utterly deranged. People who have a genuine need to find out if they have sufficient active B12 get told they have enough when they actually have far far too little to function, or to get their homocysteine down! They are screwed by whatever authority provides these WRONG reference ranges. The same is true of a simple Serum B12 test. All the labs use a normal range of around 185 – 640 ng/L, and yet you cannot possibly have sufficient to convert to the active form unless you have OVER 650ng/L !! I think questions need to be asked about just how these reference ranges are arrived at, and why on earth are they not corrected by those who do know their subject, such as the special researchers on the NICE peer review panel, who have got it correct! They are totally orthodox, and meant to tell the underlings what to do, and yet the labs continue to use totally WRONG reference ranges. Go figure!
Veganism is so dangerous. Its basically like asking a 7 yo to just start driving themselves around. They have many skills, know how to speak and take in vast amounts of knowledge, but if you ask a 7 yo to design a proper vegan diet, it would be a disaster.
Just go get a hamburger 2x a week
