What I hate about Carnivores is they present the same sales pitch for their diets as vegans do, without realizing it.
"I used to be really unhealthy, but then I realized that this entire subsection of food that humans have been consuming for thousands of years is actually the cause of all modern health problems, and so I tried eliminating it all, and all my health problems magically went away. Therefore I have found the magic diet that humans should have always been consuming to cure all disease. Try this diet now to cure all of your illness, and if it doesn't you're not trying hard enough"
The truth is no diet exists that will cure all disease, and the modern rise in diet related health problems can be easily explained by the ungodly amount of processed and refined sugar, fat and salt we add to everything to make the food overly decadent and indulgent. This is purely a product of modern times, and its only gotten worse over time, which explains why it popped up suddenly, and is getting worse.
