Living in Virginia you dont think about earthquakes yet weve had them. 2013 i think it was? Yea we felt that. My roommate was so scared she forgot to close her robe and just ran to me as i stood in a door frame looking around like "WTF IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW?" And since we've had a few more just little rumbles

I really never saw people being often focused on their smartphone as a problem.
It’s when your focus is on your phone INSTEAD of other obviously more important things and people and situations.
We will learn this with time.
With this incredible piece of technology, virtually any information, knowledge, the answer to virtually any question, the meaning of a word you just heard and weren’t sure of the mean, in that instance you’re adding to your vocabulary.
Learning how to do virtually anything is via YouTube, online forums or websites dedicated to teaching someone how to do whatever it is you’re trying to learn.
Countless forms of entertainment.
iPhones even have Screen Time now which will tell you exactly how long you’ve spend on your phone and even which apps.
It can even remind you basically saying “Hey you’ve been on YouTube for 4 hours, consider taking a break! 🙂 and then even suggests activities you can do based on the weather in your area even.
You get the picture.
TLDR; phones aren’t the problem, they’re incredible piece of technology. It’s learning when it’s appropriate to use them and when they should be put away for a while.
When it’s time to enjoy time with loved ones, workout and exercise etc..
Just like with anything else 😊
