We know we are made in the likeness and image of God being spirit, soul and body. Likewise so is God, spirit soul and body. The law of three's should be seen from above in Jesus, so when we see law in scripture we should discern the mind of God by the Holy Spirit.
Consider there are three of law, the law of the spirit in Christ Jesus, the law written on our hearts of the ten commandments heard by faith not written, and the law of legalism received through the mind, the letter that kills.
This principle applies to Jerusalem. The Jerusalem that comes down from above that is new, the old soul level Jerusalem that kills or brings to nought the prophets, and the natural, physical Jerusalem
