There’s a lot of wisdom in such a short clip. I have experience this as well. I wrestled in high school and college. In my 20s I needed another outlet and took up martial arts. I worked at it for 15 years and dare say that I was a person you did not want to meet in a dark alley. However, by the time I got to that point I saw no point in actually fighting because it just demonstrated to fools we couldn’t solve a problem. Whatever the rage that fueled me for more than 20 years just disappeared. I no longer felt the need to prove myself nor did I care what other people thought of me. I think a lot of combat vet experience this too. Many of my friends who were hell raiders and saw combat now try to seek a quiet and peaceful existence. Some don’t even want to own a gun.
