most people that train should just learn to fight in one stance. Generally you only have a limited time to train, so just focus on what you can
South paws are usually superior just in that fact that people dont train for a left handed opponent .. I mostly win my fights on the left hook because people don’t expect it. It’s to easy.. my left hits so hard I only to need to get 1 or 2 in.. people who hit with their right are predictable
I’ve been orthodox for 40 years. Never boxed Southpaw. Was so against switching.
Until I tore both my infraspinatus and supraspinatus tendons in my lead shoulder just before COVID hit .
While waiting for surgery I took a leaf out of Terrence Crawfords book.
I couldn’t use my left so I forced myself to box southpaw.
Gotta say… now I get it. I was wrong. Now I feel more comfortable southpaw.
WTF lol 😂
Being southpaw is the reason left handed is still about
Switch as you step into strikes, step back into southpaw, use angles etc but don’t just switch infront of your opponent for no reason and stay in your weak stance too long. I can write with both hands and I don’t even suggest this
