There should not had been any doubt about Solomon here. After all, Solomon had already captured the King of the Demons in another segment. And, did so with ordering a lesser Demon to get the Demon King and bring him to Solomon.
So, doubtful this Demon could had been any more powerful.
Yet other stories still use the 7 deadly sins to represent 7 Demon Kings.
Aft best this Demon would be equivalent to the previous Demon King. Which again, Solomon had captured a lower Demon for and ordered that Demon to bring his King. Which Solomon had given the ring to the Demon to use to capture his King with.
So, a log of unessacary going in circles here.
