We Homestead on 2 acres. Regenerative organic farming is absolutely doable from small to large farms….
Rabbits have a much higher protein level with less fat than cows and chickens. It doesn’t take “a ton of land”🤦♀️
We don’t till either so we aren’t allowing carbon out of Earth. Building microbial life in our soil is something anyone can learn to do ❤️
Same amount of land, better managed.
Most intensively grazed properties show an increase in carrying capacity of between 50% and 300% compared with set stocking.
It actually results in improved animal/acre ratios, not reduced, because the soil, grass and animal health is much better, therefore more productive and requiring less expensive chemical and mechanical inputs.
Everyone's a winner… except for big chemical ag businesses.

Of course planting cover crops, rotational grazing, and a million other options will help return carbon to soil. You can even do nothing to bare soil and it will sequester carbon, in fact that's probably the best thing you could do!

The point they miss is that regenerative ag doesn't have to scale at the rate conventional ag has: the planet produced enough food to feed 11bn people in 2007, when there were only 7 bn people on the planet. We don't need more calories, we need more nutrients. Regenerative ag can supply those nutrients.
