The TRUE story of the trial cannot be attested to by ANY contemporary eyewitness account outside of the letters of Paul & the gospels. And the Gospel of John was likely written in the 2nd century, long after the supposed trial. None of the gospel authors are ever named. No eye witness account has ever been found. No first hand account of Jesus is known to exist. This event may have indeed happened but it is all conjecture.
