In the future, when all the agenda based politics & strategies of promoters + refs + judges aimed at achieving everything they can to milk an extra penny for themselves and their fickle company … when all the hype strategies of reporters who's characters have become enslaved to almost nothing but the will of a pathetic materialistic lifestyle … when all the naive women and children who embrace the intimidating opinions of those they can't seem to realize are definable as living puppets … when every last stat is examined and perceived in context with the shallow outcomes they produced … on top of the fact that every great fighter and fighting critic never stops acknowledging Romero as the only guy on the roster worthy of overwhelming fear …

Canelo isn’t number 1 p4p. Shaub doesn’t take details into account when he’s looking at records. Canelo fought a lot of the names either when they were pretty much done or he weight bullied the shit out of them. I remember when he weighed in on fight night vs angulo at 174 lbs in a fight at 154 and rumours went around when he fought Khan that he was 187. Then, and I don’t care what anyone says including the corrupt judges, there’s the fact that he got beat by ggg twice. Now don’t get it twisted, Canelo is an excellent fighter and undoubtedly up there but loma is 1 for me. Quickest ever route to 3 division champ (fewest fights) in 12 fights and then unifying in his 13th. Beating guys like Gary Russell, Walters, rigo and linares along the way.
