  1. eating meat for eons… cancer, heart disease, and other chronic diseases explode on the population in the 20th century… "It's meat!!"…lol BIRG/CORF… suffocating dogma… science, or attempts at it, is/are becoming a team sport.

  2. I don’t liked relying on food studies. Epidemiological or RCT’s. Why? Every researcher is biased, even if they don’t know it. There also has been a near conspiracy against any study that doesn’t show saturated fat is evil.

So, I like looking at natural populations. Some in the posts here say vegan/vegetarian societies have better health outcomes. I would ask what vegan or vegetarian societies?

There are no vegan countries to get data from. Vegetarian cultures, like southern India, have massive health issues.

On the other hand Hong Kong has the longest lived people on earth. They also just happen to eat the most meat, a large part of it red. Then there is the French and Swiss paradox, as we all know.

So, for these Vegan zealots to come out with these silly pro-vegan “documentaries” is ridiculous as the above shows, at a minimum that eating significant amounts of meat and saturated fat is in no way detrimental to a long, even the longest human life.

Frankly, I’m tired of this whole argument.

James’s “experts” are totally wrong about anthropology as humans and their predecessors have been eating meat for at Least 2 million years. This is not debatable.

To say, what Chris is saying that eating say 1/4-1/3 of your calories from animals is harmless or even advantageous to not eating any animals is almost certainly true.

As an anecdotal account, my mother was a 30 year vegan and we all thought she was so healthy and would live to 100. However, she started falling apart at about 77, mentally and physically. She has so many issues that it’s hard to keep track of. She has so lost her mind now that she “forgot” she was vegan and recently started eating meat again. She certainly seems to be improving now, for the first time in years.

I know this is only one person, but we all only have one shot at this life, and I believe including a decent amount of animal products in your diet, covers all your bases.

No human for millions of years has lived a vegan or even vegetarian life.

  3. The only problem I have with Vegans is how much they push their cult like beliefs. Ive never met someone who eats meat and spends 1hr trying to convince me to eat a steak, the benefits of steak, how steak protein can match vegetable based synthesized protein, etc. etc. etc.

Ive also never known a vegan to last more than a couple of years on that crazy diet. They almost always fail and end up eating meat and then when they do its like an orgasm
