I've been vegan for a year, and I feel much better.
Our brains got bigger not because we ate more meat, but because we harnessed fire and began cooking. Rice and beans is all you need to be smart.
The act of killing animals was not originally for food Joe. Moreover it was for defence and dominance and territory. You said yourself humans are inherently weak compared with apex predators. We evolved to become the apex predator on the planet not so we could season a steak bro 😂 it's simply evolution. Do gorillas kill other weaker gorillas so they can barbecue them?
If you were born without the weapons needed to hunt and kill, you're not a carnivore or omnivore, you are a sheep in wolves clothing. All real carnivores and omnivores are born with their weapons (sharp teeth and claws). Just look in the mirror, flat blunt teeth, before you start with canines, a herbivore has the biggest canines. There are many other indicators that we are herbivores/frugivores. ZERO that we are omnivores. Literally herbivores playing pretend, costing our health, destroying the planet and BILLIONS of innocent animals tortured, raped and executed. And all this because, "I LikE tHe TAsTe."

Humans becoming smart due to meat consumption is just an absurd theory. "If eating meat or hunting stimulated brain development then the carnivores would have the biggest brains, and they don't. Which is why if you have a dog he still drinks from the toilet. They're not very bright".
