  1. Get CosmicSkeptic aka Alex O' Connor on the show if you want to talk about veganism. The issue isnt that we arent biologically geared to eat like omnivores, its that the "i like the taste" isnt enough to justify animals suffering and dying.

  2. The elephant in the room is the vegan fallacy that they do not consume animal products. Plants eat meat. Bone meal, fish emulsion, manure, organic farming uses pounds of large animal bi products per square meter of soil to produce nutritious vegetables. These farmers dread the day vegan activists will be blocking their gates when this enters the echo chamber of their self limited information sources. Also livestock fields are habitats for small mammals and birds able to live a full life cycle, so those farmers contribute to the health and protect numerous sentient animals. Habitat destruction to farm land makes vegetable growers and their customers on the wrong side of that equation as well. A light young steer is 1200 lbs. A typical American omnivore eats approx. 57 lbs of beef a year. It takes years to consume a full animal. Fully grown animals are up to 2000 lbs. Do the math. It is a matter of time before a disciplined vegan even if they take supplements, which if vegan and chemically derived nutrients, to have issues from the oxalates and lectins that are plant defenses that powerfully impact the human body. If they do well, they simply have to cheat somewhat or make mistakes, which is fine, I believe people should have the nutrients they need. Human sustenance requires some exchange of life force to occur. Most Americans can benefit from reducing meat consumption and eating less big ag meats, but because meat consumption pound for pound is used more for growing plants vegans just can’t claim they do not harm animals. They don’t like to own up to this and this denial of their taking of sentient lives makes their shaming of others a stark hypocrisy.

  3. Sadly, Rogen's views on nutrition seem to be based almost entirely on his incorrect and outdated bias for eating meat. It's great to be opinionated but it's not impressive when it's based on ignorance or lack of education about the subject you are opining on.
