You can learn so much from this guy. Not just how to survive, field dress or whatever. Watch how he talks, listen to his excitement when he describes certain things. This is a guy who has drowned out so much noise and is content to get by with what he can, just to be himself and be a free mind, to live how he wants, not be held back by what people say he should do. And the way that he embraces things that most of us feel that we shouldnt have to deal with, and the stellar attitude he has when approaching those situations. Its admirable. This guy is a gem, people should have to see him in school.
barefoot is great if you can walk in a place that isnt frequented by dog walkers. My only option would be our local parks…..and between the geese and dog crap, I wouldnt risk my feet being exposed that way. Even if dog walkers pick up the crap, so many dogs and so much residue over time (with geese as well its even worse) that you cant tell me that the rain "just washes it away"…..no.
