  1. There were several falsehoods told by the narrator, such as that we were "first and foremost spirits before we have bodies that house us", for before we were conceived in the womb, we did NOT exist (see Rom 9:11 regarding Esau and Jacob; see also Gen 3:19 about Adam being created from the dust of the ground, and returning to the same state of non-existence after he died), and Jeremiah 15:16 accurately says: "Your words were found, and I ate them; And your word became to me the exultation and the rejoicing of my heart, for your name has been called on me, O Jehovah God of armies", not Lord God Almighty.

And when Jesus was tempted by Satan the Devil after not having eaten for 40 days, Jesus told him: "It is written (at Deut 8:3): ‘Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every word that comes from Jehovah’s mouth.’”(Matt 4:4)

Abraham was unique among mankind at that time, coming to know Jehovah God very well unlike his contemporaries, so that he listened to Jehovah when he was told to leave his relatives at age 75 and go "to a land that I will show you", which proved to be the land of Canaan.(Gen 12:1-5) Because Abraham was obedient to Jehovah God, such as circumcising all the males eight days and older (Gen 17:11, 12), Jehovah made a covenant with him at 99 years old.(Gen 17:1, 2)

At Genesis 22, when Abraham was about 125 years old, he was told: "Take, please, your son, your only son whom you so love, Isaac, and travel to the land of Mo·riʹah and offer him up there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains that I will designate to you.”(Gen 22:2: Note: Abraham was to offer Isaac in the place on one of the mountains in the land of Moriah where Abraham found a ram caught in a thicket and subsequently offered it instead of Isaac. Abraham viewed this ram as Jehovah’s provision and therefore named the place Jehovah-jireh, meaning "Jehovah Will Provide; Jehovah Will See To It")

Abraham did not understand why Jehovah had asked him to offer up Isaac his only son through Sarah, but "by faith Abraham, when he was tested, as good as offered up Isaac—the man who had gladly received the promises attempted to offer up his only-begotten son—although it had been said to him: “What will be called your offspring will be through Isaac.” But he reasoned that God was able to raise him up even from the dead, and he did receive him from there in an illustrative way."(Heb 11:17-19)

So, because Abraham would have went through with offering Isaac as a "burnt offering", never questioning it, Jehovah now told him: "By myself I swear,’ declares Jehovah, ‘that because you have done this and you have not withheld your son, your only one, I will surely bless you and I will surely multiply your offspring like the stars of the heavens and like the grains of sand on the seashore, and your offspring will take possession of the gate of his enemies. And by means of your offspring all nations of the earth will obtain a blessing for themselves because you have listened to my voice.’”(Gen 22:16-18; Note: Abraham's attempt to offer up Isaac foreshadowed Jehovah offering Jesus as his "only-begotten Son" for obedient mankind, John 3:16)

Abraham's "offspring" here was NOT the fleshly nation that he would be a father of, but a spiritual nation called God's Kingdom (see Matt 6:10), that would consist of both Jew and Gentile, for at Roman 9, the apostle Paul wrote: "However, it is not as though the word of God has failed (when the nation of fleshly Israel rejected Jesus as the Messiah and had him executed on a stake, John 19:16). For not all who descend from Israel are really “Israel." Neither are they all children because they are Abraham’s offspring; rather, “What will be called your offspring will be through Isaac.” That is, the children in the flesh (or Jews) are NOT really the children of God, but the children by the promise are counted as the offspring (of Abraham)."(Rom 9:6-8)

At Galatians 3, the apostle Paul says that "surely you know that it is those who adhere to faith who are sons (or "offspring") of Abraham. Now the scripture (at Gen 22:18), foreseeing that God would declare people of the nations (or Gentiles) righteous through faith (along with a few Jews who exercised faith in Jesus), declared the good news beforehand to Abraham, namely: “By means of you all the nations will be blessed.” So those who adhere to faith are being blessed together with Abraham, who had faith."(Gal 3:7-9; see also Rom 4:11, 12)

Abraham's "offspring" is the same as the "woman's offspring" at Genesis 3:15, a body of loyal servants of Jehovah God of 144,001 that he chooses to make up a heavenly government called God's Kingdom. This "offspring" will bring blessings to obedient mankind, such as the destruction of the political governments and their supporters, clearing the earth of all wicked ones (Ps 37:10; Dan 2:44, 45) so that only "meek" ones remain (Matt 5:5), followed by the blessings found at Revelation 21:3-5, whereby sin that brings sickness, sorrow and death will be completely eradicated by the end of Jesus "1,000 year" reign.
