Reparations is inherently unjust because all it does is open up our civilization to increased tribalism (i.e., the opposite of civilization).
We treat people in prison like slaves. We treat people outside of prison not like slaves. Whether you do not go to prison is your choice.
If it's a public corporation then you're penalizing the wrong person by taking money from them. The slave owners or their descendants may have sold off to someone else a long time back and got their full profits. Now the public corporation may be owned by people of color, international investors, or 401K of ordinary people may be invested or owned by people who aren't descendants of slave owners.
I CAN HAVE IT CLEANED UP WITHIN 6 MONTHS. ESPECIALLY WITH YOUR HELP. THINGS ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE!
They STILL do it. Lest a prisoner can stay inside the walls waiting for one or another to go over the edge and run up on you. Why don't people ever talk about the police academy (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force) and how they're getting 'paid' to go to school. They get clothing allowance. They get medical. They get mess hall. They get furlough. They get housing allowance. They get PAID! . . . to go to school. WE get to kiss their ass and eat Dostoyevski. I remember getting a letter from the ACLU in 1975 while I was at University. They were seeking donations. . .(protection money?). I also remember my Mom sending me a letter (same location) telling me, "I love you, Andy, but sometimes I don't like you." Just like her tears, I think she knew that there were bear ears all around from Hannah Street — Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. It is NOT beneath the 'heroes' to recruit problems so that they can be Johnny-on-the-spot "problem" solver. Legal slavery? Who's the judge? Hero-in-chief . . . that's who. I'm SEVEN DECADES into life on this planet in the holy United States of America. I've never gotten more than minimum wage. FOUR DECADES have been at considerably less than minimum wage. Police violence? Oh, nooooooooooooooooooooo. I can starve if I want. Police violence? Finger hacked, ear hacked at, teeth knocked out, scars on my face, head, feet, etc.. Near 100 lbs., I was also never going to be a physical treat. But I sure as hell was going to be a statistic for him and his whores. Slavery? Why don't you put on "Codachrome"? It's sunnier than your truthful tongues.
