Just read the book. The development/past of Ranald Mackenzie and Quanah Parker and their interaction between them would be a great movie! Not sure it would make lots of money… But developed and marketed like Dances With Wolves… and they could make their money back. They certainly learned their lessons with National Treasure. I hope they don't fictionalize it! Truth alone here is so fascinating! You can't make this stuff up!
If you like this book , you will love Allen Eckert books . Try “ That dark and bloody river “
It’s the story of the settlement of the Ohio valley in 1770 to 1790 .
Allen has 8 books . Narratives . All of them are extremely graphic .
Mini series
Comanches cutting the soles off the feet of miners and watching them stumble around. It was a great book.
