  1. Kettlebell, barbell, machine, walking, running whatever…..just do something and get started get moving. Pick something you like and enjoy and stick at it . Doing something is way better than nothing!

    Yes

    Use both. You can't beat the barbell for strength and power training, especially if you do the Olympic lifts. But it can generate asymmetries, so doing some accessories with kettlebells is brilliant.

    Barbells might also be too heavy for many beginners so kettlebells are a nice intro. And like Pavel mentioned, it takes a lot of practice to get the barbell exercises right.
