  1. hate do to this to you Joe, but there's no aliens.

the time and distances are so vast that the likelihood of a race of intelligent beings to be alive right now, not 2 million or 2 billion years ago, or in the future, but right now… and to have that race be anywhere near us… even if they had lightspeed tech, tech beyond our understanding, things that would break our laws of physics, the likelihood of us running into each other, even when trying to find each other, would be worse odds than if you took an empty planet earth, then randomly drop 10 people onto the planet in random places and in random points of time on the earth's timeline. Even if two people landed in TX by some miracle… what would be the odds they would be in TX at the same time? and even then, do you understand how big TX is? with two people, even if they had cars or planes, the odds of them bumping into each other would be slim at best… and that's giving a lot… that's giving that two people would be near each other in that random drop… and then ALSO at the same time. it's possible, but so improbable as to have a literal zero percent chance of happening.

This would be the same as a glass breaking entropy. Meaning, in physics, if you were to drop a wine glass and shatter it on the floor. If you were to pick it all up in your dust pan, raise the pan into the air, and then drop all the broken pieces, dust, etc. back to the floor… there is a chance, in physics it is possible, that everything bounces just so as to rebuild the glass. the odds of it happening are so remote it couldn't ever happen, but you cannot state it's impossible. Same here. Can aliens visit. Sure. Have or will they? Nope… never going to happen… and even if they did, maybe it was a million years ago or a million years from now and you'd never know about it.

Here's another fun little thought. there's only a 1% difference between humans and apes. Try to explain quantum physics to an ape. See the problem? It's not a communication thing… their brains would not be capable of that level of thought… no matter how you worded it, no matter how you dummied it down, it would always be a concept they could not grasp. So, if there are aliens that have mastered space travel, mastered light, or maybe faster-than-light speed… would they not be 1% more than human? Could it not be fair to consider them 2%… what if they were 5% more? If aliens can traverse the universe, we'd be nothing more than ants to them. Thinking we could backwards engineer their tech would be like thinking ants could build the sink in your kitchen they're crawling across at the moment, lol. If you think we are advanced enough to go from going to the moon a couple of times and then backwards engineer faster than light speed tech, that's all ego and way, way, waaaaaay too much TV. lol.

Even further proof of this. google a map of ufo reports/ activity. something like 90% of all ufo sightings are over the USA, lol. the other 10% are over other western white rich nations. there are no sightings in the southern hemisphere, non in Africa, none in China, etc. All places with way less light pollution where sighting things in the sky would be far easier with the human eye, lol. you know why all the aliens are only seen over the US? One word. Hollywood. Since birth we've all lived with the idea of ET, Alien, Star Wars, Star Trek, and all the other sci-fi you can stomach… but it's just that… science fiction, not science fact.

sorry to bum everyone's high, but to steal a line from PBS Spacetime… "It's never aliens."

  2. I feel with Ron. I didn't lose as much, because I didn't have as much, but I was married twice… divorced twice. It was more like $1m for me, not $10m, but everything is relative and it still stung! lol
